From childhood, Marissa has been filled with a sense of wonder and curiosity. She realized that the best things in life are found in the places that no one is looking (maybe under a fallen tree).
Growing up in Northeast Ohio, she observed that life has all four seasons, and you need to be fully present to get the most out of the environment you’re in right now.
Marissa delights in life-long learning. In college, she never wanted to focus on memorizing exclusively for the test, but enjoyed taking the pursuit of knowledge seriously and approaching it curiously.
As a public speaker, Marissa knows that guiding students toward natural curiosity will help them THRIVE!
Her favorite moments are when she sees the “light bulb” go off in students of all ages! Every word she speaks from the stage or during an intimate gathering, she gives the audience tools to cultivate the seeds of leadership within themselves.
